To date, USD 210M has been raised to fight the 🦗 upsurge in the Horn of Africa and Yemen.

With this funding, @FAO's collective efforts have protected over 2.9M tonnes of cereal, enough to feed 20M people for a year.

Outbreaks of #PPR (goat & sheep plague) fell by two-thirds in recent years.

The decrease of the highly contagious animal disease is due to the impact of vaccination campaigns in over 50 countries.

Challenges remain but PPR eradication is in sight.
